IGP Reveals Date For Fresh Recruitment Into Nigeria Police Force

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, has said that fresh recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force will start soon.

The IGP said this while on a work visit to the Plateau State police command.

He assured that Nigeria Police Force, and the Police Service Commission (PSC) are working closely on the process.

Baba is on a work visit to various commands to restore confidence and boost the diminishing morals of police officers following attacks on the personnel and facilities.

The IGP who regretted that many officers of the law have lost their lives in the discharge of the national duties, assured that eligible children of deceased officers, would be considered during the forth coming recruitment.

Baba who called for a change in the conduct of some police officers, added that he is committed to improve the welfare and working conditions in the Force.
