Ikonne's Death Is A Bitter Pill To Swallow - Senator T.A. Orji Pays Tribute
The senator representing Abia Central Senatorial district, Theodore Ahamefula Orji, has described the death of Professor Uche Ikonne, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Abia State, as a bitter pill to swallow.

He regretted that late Ikonne whom he said was a huge asset of immense worth to the entire PDP and Abia central, departed when he did. He however charged the family to take heart as God's decision cannot be questioned.

"I have received with both shock and much indignation the sudden death of Prof Uche Ikonne, Governorship Candidate of the PDP, Abia State.
He was indeed, a dear friend, brother, fine gentleman and a huge asset of immense worth to the entire PDP family and especially Abia Central Senatorial District which has been worst hit by his passage.

As man cannot question God, I join all Abians and indeed the his family to mourn his departure, which is a bitter pill to swallow, while I pray God avails us the comfort in this period of grief" Senator T A Orjji said.
