INEC Reacts To Court Order For Electorates To Use Temporary Voters Card For Election
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has rejected the Federal High Court order for the electoral Body to allow two electorates use their Temporary Voters Cards (TVC) for the March 18, 2023 governorship and State House of Assembly election.

ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER had reported that Justice Obiora Egwuatu in Abuja, ordered INEC to allow two plaintiffs; Kofoworola Olusegun and Wilson Allwell use their TVCs to vote as they failed to get their PVCs from the Commission before the deadline despite they visiting the office repeatedly. READ HERE

Reacting to the court judgement, The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the INEC Chairman, Rotimi Oyekanmi, in a statement on Thursday, said the Commission have been served a copy of the court judgement, however it will take immediate step to appeal the judgement.

"The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been served a copy of the judgement delivered today by the Federal High Court, Abuja Division which ordered it to allow two Plaintiffs to vote with their Temporary Voter's Card (TVC)ÔÇØ.

"The Commission is taking immediate steps to appeal against the judgement of the trial courtÔÇØ the statement read.
