'Lookman isn't a player you can sell' - Inter Milan president explains reason he wants to sign CAF POTY
Inter Milan's president details why they are want to sign Ademola Lookman.
Inter president Beppe Marotta explained why they intend to make a significant investment in Ademola Lookman, despite his advanced age and low resale value.

Atalanta rejected Inter's Ôé¼40 million bid for the Nigerian, as La Dea are holding out on Ôé¼50 million. Still, the 20-time Serie A champions were not discouraged and are expected to return with an offer of Ôé¼45 million.
Marotta explains Lookman interest
The Inter president was asked about the economics of the Lookman deal, as they were making a significant investment in a player close to 30.

While he conceded that they do not envisage recouping their investment through a future sale, he explained that Lookman's experience was integral to their plans.

"We all agree that, in football, you rarely win just with eleven talented players,ÔÇØ he said, per Sempre Inter. "Along with talent, you need experience. And you need very strong character.

"Lookman isn't a player you can sell on for a profit. But he can give us the edge with his quality.
"He's not a player that I've just discovered, but a good player can also help the young players around him develop. A mixture of younger and more experienced players adds value to the squad.ÔÇØ
