IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu's Family Queries FG, Issues Threat | READ DETAILS
The family of Nnamdi Kanu leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has queried the Federal Government on how and where it intercepted their son from.

A statement signed by Kanunta Kanu on Tuesday, claimed that the federal government's inability to avail details on Kanu's arrest and repatriation amounts to illegality.

The family threatened to invoke the prima facie evidence against the federal government if the court fails to adhere to the constitution.

"President Muhammadu Buhari's led administration has failed to proffer clarifications on the processes deployed in extraditing the freedom fighter.

"As family, we insist on knowing the exact location from where our brother was intercepted, as alleged by the Nigerian government and how come no clarification has been given up until this date.

"The action of the Federal Government, for us, amounts to illegality, and you cannot put illegality on illegality and expect it to stand. So, if the court fails to adhere to constitutional law, we would be compelled to invoke the prima facie evidence against the federal governmentÔÇØ the statement read.

Recall that the special counsel to Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, had on Monday February 7, alleged that the federal government could not explain how his client was intercepted because they used illegal means to do so. READ HERE

Kanu who was repatriated from 'Kenya' since June, 2021, have been in the custody of the Department of State Service (DSS).
