It Doesn't Make Sense, Cristiano Ronaldo Mourns Diogo Jota

Portuguese football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo has stressed that the sudden demise of his national teammate, Diogo Jota, doesn't make sense to him.
Diogo Jota, 28, who got married to his longtime lover barely ten days ago died in a car crash alongside his 26-year-old brother, Andre, earlier today, July 3.

In his tribute to the Liverpool forward, Ronaldo stressed that Jota will always be with him as he reminisced about how they both won the 2025 Nations League together in June.

"It doesn't make senseÔÇØ, Ronaldo wrote. "Just now we were together in the National Team, just now you got married. To your family, your wife, and your children, I send my condolences and wish them all the strength in the world. I know you will always be with them. RIP, Diogo and Andr├®. We will all miss you.ÔÇØ

Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has also shared his tribute to Jota. He wrote on ØòÅ: "You will be remembered, my friend.ÔÇØ

Also, Diogo Jota's national teammate, R├║ben Neves, has joined the world to mourn the Portuguese striker. He wrote: "They say we only lose people when we forget them. I will never forget you!ÔÇØ

Diogo Jota's childhood club, Gondomar SC, have also shared their condolences via their official ØòÅ handle.
They wrote: "Gondomar Sport Clube is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Diogo Jota, an academy graduate of our club, and his brother Andr├®.
"We send our sincerest condolences to their family and all who loved them.
"Rest in peace.ÔÇØ
