Jordan Pickford signs new Everton contract until 2029, England international 'over the moon'
Jordan Pickford has committed his future to Everton by signing a new contract. The England international has been on Everton's books since making the move from Sunderland in 2017 and has established himself as one of the Premier League's best goalkeepers. In his time on Merseyside, Pickford has established himself as England's No. 1 and has played at World Cups and European Championships.
Jordan Pickford has signed a new deal at Everton to commit his future to the club until 2029.
The 31-year-old joined The Toffees from Sunderland in July 2017 in a British-record move for a goalkeeper.
He has since made 326 appearances for the club, and this deal extends his stay on Merseyside to 12 years.

Pickford told Everton TV: "I'm delighted. Delighted to get it done - it's an extra two years, so four years in total.
"I'm over the moon, and it gives me the opportunity to build a legacy for myself here, move forward and build this club to where we want to be.
"Everton is a really special club to me. Coming from Sunderland as a young lad and growing into a man here, it's been a special time for me and my family.
"I think everyone's seen the changes and how I've developed over time, but I'm still that lad who loves to keep the ball out of the net. It's been Everton who have helped me develop and a lot of hard work's been put in as well.
"It's always felt like a natural fit for me, with the fans and the passion - it's second to none and something I thrive off. It's been a mega journey so far."

Pickford has been named Everton Player of the Season four times - more than any other player in the club's history - and spoke of his determination to propel The Toffees back to the top end of the Premier League.
He continued: "I think the dark days are behind us, and it's about building that momentum as a team and the club now. I think it's the whole deal, really.
"The new owners have come in and have shown they want to move us forward. The manager since he has come in has shown that, too, and us as players on the pitch.
"The manager wanted us to continue our form [from the end of last season] into this one, and he'll keep pushing us.
"We've started well, and we want to keep building that momentum and get Everton Football Club back to a team that competes in Europe.
"We know it's tough to do, but it's a journey we want to go on, and it's hard work that we'll put in as a club. We want to have that direction and, hopefully, one day we'll lift some silverware as well."

Pickford is now eager to follow in the footsteps of Neville Southall, who won two top-flight titles and two FA Cups during his 17 years at the club.
"You know, [Neville] Southall is the great at Everton and I don't want to be too far behind him, if not in front of him, when my time comes to an end.
"The main thing is to win games and be part of a team that's winning games and being successful. I've always said, for me, it's about the fans going home happy after a match.
"They put in a lot of hard work and invest a lot of time and money into following us, so there's nothing better than repaying them with big moments and performances."
