Josephine Ugwu Who Returned Lost N17 Million Facing Threat To Life |PICTURE

A honest Nigerian Mrs Josephine Ugwu is currently battling to save her life and that of her unborn baby as she is said to be carrying a pregnancy for the past 16months. And all effort to deliver the baby has proved abortive as the baby has refused to come out even after the pregnancy is due to be delivered.

Investigation by AFNEWS revealed that Mrs Josephine divine rise to prominence started few years ago when she was celebrated for returning 17 million Naira cash which she found in the toilet of the Lagos International Airport while carrying out her daily routine activities as an airport cleaner .

AFNEWS gathered that following her honest deeds in consistently returning cash she found while working as an airport cleaner to their owners and in recognition of her integrity, she was elevated from the position of a cleaner to the position of handling luggage's at the airport.

While serving in her new position at the Lagos International Airport she continued displaying her exemplary character by twice returning cash that were lost by their owners, according to her " the first money she saw and returned back to the owner in her new department was in US dollars and the other in hundreds of thousands of Naira. but she resisted the temptation to take the money and returned it to the Airport authorities which returned it to the rightful owners ."

Her examplary character was not without recognition once again because she caught the attention of the presidency after the Independence Corrupt practices and Other Related Offenses Commission ICPC invited her to Aso Rock to be given an award by President Muhammadu Buhari.

But just like the proverbial "better things wey no dey last ", she revealed that her good fortune and soaring reputation attracted jealousy and evil to her. " I have been carrying this pregnancy for the past 1 year and 4 months ( that is 16 months ) without delivery , the worst is that no one seems to know what is responsible for my inability to put to birth". she has not been able to deliver her baby. She has been carrying the pregnancy for 16 months.

The most pathetic side of this story is that the doctor she approached to induce labour and force the baby out bluntly told her that such exercise, even a cesarean section will lead to her death. Meaning that her only last option and resort to is seek spiritual intervention.

Though the cause and reason behind her inability to deliver is without medical explanation, but this is a lady that has been a sterling citizen, virtuous and honest therefore really deserves to be celebrated by all but now currently battling not just to save her life but that of her unborn child. Possibly someone who felt threatened by her rising credentials and good deeds might have resulted to diabolical means to attack her . At least " she cannot come to work and continue returning lost cash if she is burdened by an unending pregnancy. "
