Joy In Umuagom Community As Abia Speaker Installs, Energizes Transformer

The brand new transformer which had remained dormant after it was donated by the Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator T.A. Orji due to efforts of the community to raise the needed finance for its installation and functionality after several months of receiving the item was yet to materialize.

However, while on a visit to the community recently, the Speaker came across the transformer and asked the Chairman of the village, Mr Obinna Umunnem Ebochuogu, why the transformer was still lying dormant months after it was donated, the chairman responded simply by saying, "Mr Speaker, na money matter o". The Speaker said they should consider it done, and at this point, members of the community went wild in jubilation saying their days of suffering darkness were over.

Today, the transformer has been successfully installed and energized while the community through their Chairman and other leaders have expressed gratitude to the Speaker and Senator T.A. Orji for coming to their aid.
