JUST IN: Barrister Emperor Ogbonna granted bail, plan to rearrest him foiled

Information reaching AFNEWS has it that one Barrister Emperor Ogbonna who has been under detention for some weeks now on the allegation of defaming Governor Okezie Ikpeaz PhD has being granted bail by a Federal High Court Sitting in Umuahia this afternoon.

We also gathered that attempts were made to rearrest him, but the attempt was foiled by lawyers and officials of Nigerian Correctional Service.
