Just In: President Buhari Meeting With Security Chiefs, Others Over Insecurity

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has called for an emergency meeting with the National Security Council and others.

According to the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, the meeting will be witnessed by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Service Chiefs and other heads of security agencies.

Naija News understands that Ahmad announced the development on his verified Twitter handle, on Thursday, May 14.
He tweeted, "President Muhammadu Buhari has summoned a National Security Council over the recent security challenges in some part of the country. Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, service chiefs and other heads of security agencies in attendance.ÔÇØ
