Kaduna Winners Chapel Bomb Suspect Moved to Abuja (SEE REASON)

Nathaniel Samuel, a man nabbed for attempting to bomb the Living Faith Church, otherwise known as Winners Chapel in Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government area of Kaduna State has been transferred to Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.

The suspect was caught with items suspected to be Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) inside the church, during its Sunday service in on February 2nd, 2020.

Eyewitnesses at the church said the suspect successfully gained access and was seated inside the church before he was noticed.

They said, "the suspect's bag was searched, and explosive device was found in it. He was then rounded up by the church security and later handed over to the police and moved to the Sabon Tasha Division of the Nigeria Police Force.

Kaduna State Police Command later confirmed the arrest, identifying the suspect who was initially being grilled at the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID), as Nathaniel Samuel.

Meanwhile, checks on Monday revealed that, the suspected bomber has been transferred to Criminal Investigation Department of the force headquarters.

investigation on the suspect was yet to be concluded.

Responding to query as to whether the suspect has been charged to court, ASP Jalige said, "the suspect by name Nathaniel Samuel has been transferred to the force headquarters for discrete investigation.ÔÇØ

He said, the suspect would be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
