Kano: We did not banish Sanusi , Kano Attorney General speaks

During a live interview monitored by AFNews on Channels TV this morning, the Kano state attorney-general and commissioner of justice, Ibrahim Mukhtar revealed that the State government did not banish former Emir of Kano State, Mallam Muhammad Sanusi 11.

"If you careful listen to the press statement made by the Secretary to the State Government concerning Sanusi's removal, he didn't mention anything about banishment, so we didn't banish him" he said.
He want ahead to explain that the issue of banishment was created by the media and that the government have not pronounced that.
When asked of the legality of the process, he maintained that the government followed due process and acted within the ambit of the law.
