Let Us All Join Hands With Alex Otti To Rebuild Abia - Greg Ibe Calls
Professor Greg Ibe, the Abia state governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), in the recently concluded election, has called on all political gladiators, to put party affiliations aside and work with Dr. Alex Otti of the Labour Party, who is the governor -elect, to rebuild the state.
Professor Ibe in his congratulatory message lauded "Abians for their unwavering support for Dr Alex Otti and total rejection of the PDP, whose 24 -year ignoble testimonial is turning Abia into a pariah state that is only fit for pitiable outcasts."

Ibe advised aggrieved persons against filing litigations against the victory of Otti, adding that;

Following my recent pre result announcement press statement, in which I enjoined the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) to ensure strict adherence to statutory guidelines in executing the crucial job of collation, and encouraged Abians to keep hope alive believing that God will deploy the present electoral process to deliver Abia from many years of PDP misrule, I want to use this post declaration release to first appreciate God for his faithfulness and unmerited favour, which has remained the only hope and sustenance of NdiAbia since 1999.

Now that the long anticipated declaration of the governor-elect of our state has been made, let me then congratulate Abians for their unwavering support for Dr Alex Otti and total rejection of the PDP, whose 24 year ignoble testimonial is turning Abia into a pariah state that is only fit for pitiable outcasts.

For us in APGA, the 2023 guber election was more about dislodging an apparently clueless PDP government than engaging in parochial politicking that is usually characterized by extreme partisanship and cabalistic sentimentality.

The prospect of APGA emerging victorious at the governorship election was high but for the political betrayal executed by the infamous three musketeers, who in their shambolic, puerile and infantile obsession to shamefully reverse their primary election failure, partnered other collaborators to distract my focus with 22 legal matters, involving cases at the levels of magistrate, high, appeal and supreme courts.

With the election officially over, NdiAbia are definitely the winners.I therefore enjoin all political gladiators to sheath their sword and join hands with Dr Otti to commence the important task of rebuilding Abia.
Subsequently, I want to discourage the traditional resort to legalities in order to settle political and election differences. In the spirit of adopting zero tolerance mode to frivolous pre and post election litigations, I shall in due course constitute a team of Abia stakeholders to interface with aggrieved parties in order to create a peaceful environment for the governor-elect to concentrate on the act of governance.

I also want to use this medium to call for prayers by christians and Muslims resident in the state. While Muslims are requested to use their Friday jumat service to intercede for the incoming administration, christians likewise are encouraged to pray in their churches during Saturday and Sunday church worship sessions this weekend.
