LGA Poll: Ikpeazu Scores His Administration High as He hands Over Party Flags to His Party's Candidates

The Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has rated his administration high as he hands over Party flags to his Party's Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship candidate in Mega rally organized by the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Umuahia, Abia State on Wednesday, 9th October, 2020.

The governor who wrote on his official Twitter handle@GovernorIkpeazu shortly after handing flags to his party's candidates and their vice in the 17 LGAs of the state rated his administration very high.According to the governor this is the second Local government elections his administration will be organizing in just 5 years. The governor stated that "this unprecedented in the history of our dear state ".

The governor went further to express optimism that his party with come out victorious at the December 18th Council Poll.

The governor said " it is obvious that with the level of work our party and the candidates have put in so far ,from the beginning of the process till now,our opponents are already anticipating their defeat ,shivering ,taking knee jerk actions to save face from their impending defeat ".

Governor Ikpeazu adduced that for himself and his Party the PDP in Abia State ,the upcoming council poll is not a mere popularity contest,it is another opportunity for them to further demonstrate their unwavering faith in the youths,he said.
