MA-SSACRE: 24 Hour Curfew Declared In Kaduna As Death Toll Rises | PHOTOS
Kaduna State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema'a and Kaura local government areas of Southern Kaduna with immediate effect following terrorists attack in the communities.

Agban Kagoro, Kaura local government area of Southern Kaduna was attacked on Sunday evening where hundreds of houses were burnt and death toll has increased to 26.

According to report, the assailants suspected to be Fulani militias invaded the communities in their numbers wielding sophisticated weapons.

Announcing the curfew on Monday, Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs in Kaduna State, said the decision was following security advice to assist the security agencies to stabilize the situation in the areas, save lives and property and enable the restoration of law and order.

"Following advice from security agencies, the Kaduna State government has declared a 24-hour curfew in Jema'a and Kaura local government areas with immediate effect.

"This is to assist the security agencies to stabilize the situation in the areas, save lives and property, and enable the restoration of law and order.ÔÇØ

Aruwan who condemned the attack, called on residents to work with security agencies to restore peace.
