Man Arrested For Impregnating Daughter, Attempting To Ab0rt Pregnancy | READ DETAILS
One Mr Ganiyu Aikore, has been arrested for allegedly impregnating is 17-year-old daughter (name withheld) and attempting to ab-ort the pregnancy in the Mokola Isale Tapa area of Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The suspect who is said to have been sleeping with his daughter for a long time, had gone to a nearby drug store to purchase the pills to terminate the 23 weeks old pregnancy.

Suspecting that her father was about to terminate the pregnancy, the daughter and other concerned residents in the area were said to have approached the chairman of the community about the incident.

The chairman took the victim to the Adatan Police Division to file complaints against the father.

Confirming the incident, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said;

"We have arrested him. He was suspected to have been sexually involved with his teenage daughter for a very long time. The pregnancy is 23 weeks. We are conducting further investigationÔÇØ.
