Ederson decision surely ends Man City Diogo Costa transfer pursuit
With Ederson declaring he is staying, this undoubtedly means that City will not be signing Diogo Costa from Porto.
It was suggested a couple of months ago that Costa had actually agreed to join Man City this summer, with a £64 million transfer mooted.
But Ederson's stance is clear - he's staying put, and he will not be staying to sit on City's bench.

It's actually been suggested that Manchester United are interested in Costa, and so the Red Devils may look to swoop, knowing that City are now out of the race.
Of course, there have been major question marks over Andre Onana, and Costa would be an undeniable upgrade.
