MDCN Arrives Gregory University Uturu For The Third Clinical Accreditation Visit Of The 5th MBBS Program Of College Of Medicine, Health Sciences

The arrival of the 14-member MDCN team, comprising of professionals and experts from various field of medicine, marks the beginning of a comprehensive assessment process, to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the varsity's medical program, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of excellence and quality.

Amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and anticipation, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Augustine Uwakwe extended a warm welcome to the MDCN team and expressed his gratitude to the council for their commitment, expertise, guidance and dedication towards maintaining the highest standards in medical education.

He emphasized the importance of the accreditation visit in ensuring that the University graduates its first medical scholars as well as produce competent and well-trained medical professionals who can provide quality healthcare services to Nigerians.

He further assured them of the University's commitment to providing quality and comprehensive medical education and pledged the full cooperation of the college and staff during the accreditation process.

Also present to receive the members of the council were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administrations, Prof. Evaristus Anyaehie, The Registrar of the University, Mr. Chukwuemeka Mpamah, The University Librarian, Prince Ikpo Okoroafor, The University Bursar, Dr. Steve Nwaimo, The Provost of the College of Medicine, Prof. Nduka Ifeoma and The Acting Public Relations Officer, Miss Ebubechi Iwuh.

This visit carries immense importance, as it serves as a crucial milestone in the university's journey towards maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence and overall adherence to the MDCN's stringent accreditation standards.
