MOVE TO RECONCILE ALL ABIA GUBER CANDIDATES IGNITED - UWAKOLAM EXPOSES

Abia State Accord Party 2019 gubernatorial candidate, Chief Barrister Emeka Uwakalom has revealed his plan to embark on peace and reconciliation mission between Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and other 2019 governorship candidates who are aggrieved with the process that led to declaration of Ikpeazu as winner of the just concluded election.

The former gubernatorial candidate made this known during a live programme on BCA Television in Umuahia Abia State.

The governorship candidate exposed that it is the right of any candidate that feels aggrieved to seek redress in the tribunal and that the right must be respect, but he went further to explain that based on the overriding interest of Abians in general, it will be good that all gubernatorial candidates in 2019 election support the winner of the election for the state to move forward.

He made it known that most of the candidates will agree to support the governor if the process of peace and reconciliation is carried out properly and decently. Based on that, Barrister Uwakolam revealed his plan to initiate a peace process that will bring together all gubernatorial candidates and other leaders in the state to a round table where reconciliation can take place and future of the state discussed.

During the interview, Uwakolam also advised Governor Ikpeazu to take the reconciliation process serious when it starts because it will define to large extent how successful his second term may become. He further advised the governor to take his second term more serious so that he deliver on the wishes and aspiration of Abians.

Barrister Uwakolam who maintained that he is still of the opposition, advised the opposition engage constructive developmental criticism.
