MTN set to boost digital education with ICT Training in Abia

MTN Nigeria has commenced call-for entries for the third phase of its ICT and Business Skills training programme in Abia, Akwa Ibom and Kaduna States.

The company, through its CSR vehicle MTN Foundation, disclosed that entries will end on 25 October. The programme in its fourth phase is being organised in collaboration with the Foundation's ecosystem partners, namely Google, Oracle and Cisco.

The training slated for November is geared towards exposing young Nigerians to latest developments and innovation in the technology to aid individual and entrepreneurial development. Over 1900 young entrepreneurs have been trained across five States (Oyo, Kano, Imo, Nasarawa and Rivers) since the initiative started in 2018. The Foundation plans to roll-out this programme in phases across Nigeria.
