MONEY LAUNDERING: My Enemies keep Failing, Okupe Reacts After Court Judgment

The embattled Director-General Campaign Organization of Labour Party, Dr Doyin Okupe On Monday reacted to his conviction by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Okupe, yesterday was sentenced to two and a half years with an option of N13 million before 4:30pm same day or risk been sent to the Kuje Correctional Centre to which he paid before the deadline.

The former Senior Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, had since been arraigned in 2019 to the court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for breaching the Money Laundering Act till upon his conviction yesterday.

Reacting to the judgment, Okupe took to his Twitter account on Monday evening to declare that his enemies keep failing, and that God is Supreme to man.

He wrote, "God is not man. The enemies have tried in so many ways but keep failing...Victory is of God.ÔÇØ

Earlier yesterday Okupe in a tweet also said "lies, fabrication and disinformation are their tools. But in the end they will fail and be shamed. Doyin Okupe has not chopped any shishi neither has he shifted base by 1mm!!! We are moving forward till God delivers us all from perpetual raiders of this lost but glorious ark. Naija.ÔÇØ
