Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay linked with Premier League return as Manchester United plan Casemiro exit - Paper Round
Scott McTominay has been linked with a summer departure from Serie A side Napoli, while reports have said Manchester United are set to release midfielder Casemiro in the summer in order to fund the search for a replacement, which could be Brighton's Carlos Baleba. Elsewhere, Bournemouth have reportedly rejected two huge bids for their winger Antoine Semenyo.
McTominay could quit Napoli
The Mirror reports that Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay may prefer to leave Serie A this season.
The midfielder has impressed under Antonio Conte, but is said to be considering a return to familiar surroundings instead.

The Mirror explains: "Scott McTominay could return to the Premier League next year, having reportedly grown weary of his personal situation in Italy. McTominay left Manchester United to join Napoli last year and has enjoyed his time on the pitch but may cut short his time there after two seasons.
"McTominay has four goals and one assist in 10 matches this season, with three of those strikes coming this week. He would no doubt be an attractive proposition for a Premier League side, although he is under contract with Napoli until June 2028 and would therefore command a high fee.
"Conte would unsurprisingly not want to lose one of his best players as they try to defend their title. McTominay's goal in the win over Inter on Saturday underlined his importance as they went top of the table."

Bournemouth reject Semenyo bids
The Telegraph claims that Manchester United and Tottenham have both offered £50 million for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
However, the report states Bournemouth were financially strong enough to be able to resist those bids.
The paper writes: "Bournemouth sold £200m worth of players in the summer, losing their goalkeeper and three quarters of their defence.

"But Telegraph Sport can reveal that they also rejected £50m offers from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for Antoine Semenyo at the start of the window, and fought off bids for three other first-team players before the end.
"Because Bournemouth had done so much planning, and had decided who they were prepared to sell, it meant they were also able to reject late approaches from Everton and West Ham for Marcus Tavernier, an £8m bid from Crystal Palace for David Brooks and Bayer Leverkusen floating a £26m deal for Justin Kluivert which would also have been rejected out of hand."

United set to release Casemiro
The Sun reports that Manchester United may find it easier to afford Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba if they release Casemiro.
The midfield veteran reportedly has a clause in his contract for another year at Old Trafford, but it is unlikely to be triggered, freeing up money for a replacement.
The paper states: "Brighton valued Baleba at a similar fee to the £115 million [Moises] Caicedo left for Chelsea two years ago.
"United will go big for a new midfielder next year and they would have more headroom if they released Casemiro.
"However prominent the 33-year-old is in the United side, it would be a more impressionable decision than not sacking Erik ten Hag if the club triggered the one-year extension in Casemiro's contract."

Wolves linked with five Pereira replacements
Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with a number of replacements for Vitor Pereira.
The club have struggled all season and suffered a 3-2 defeat to Burnley on Sunday. Kevin Muscat, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Erik ten Hag, Sergio Conceicao and Gary O'Neil are all in the frame.
The Express reports: "Wolves may be willing to wait a few weeks for Muscat, who is aiming to guide his current team to a second league title in three years. And his no-nonsense approach may be exactly what Wolves need at this time.
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently out of work after being sacked by Besiktas in August. The Norwegian had a relatively successful period in charge of Manchester United between the end of 2018 and late 2021 before losing his job at Old Trafford.

"Wolves could turn to another former United manager in the form of Erik ten Hag should they decide to cut ties with Pereira.
"The Dutchman lost his job at Bayer Leverkusen at the start of September after spending just two months in charge of the German club.
"Wolves have been linked with Sergio Conceicao in the past, with the former Portugal international currently in charge of Al Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League.
"If Wolves are willing to go back to someone who has already had a stint in the Molineux dugout, they could target Gary O'Neil, who was sacked by the club last December."
