The Nigerian Senate has been thrown into fresh controversy as Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, officially submitted a petition accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment and abuse of office.

The dramatic development unfolded on Wednesday during plenary when Akpoti-Uduaghan formally presented the petition against Akpabio, shaking the Red Chamber to its core.
