NCC Child Online Protection Ambassadors Share Their Experiences (VIDEO)

The Nigerian Communications Commission's (NCC), Child Online Protection Ambassadors have shared their experiences after participating in the child online protection summit organized by the Commission.

The Child online protection summit is aimed at orienting children on how to stay safe on the internet and educate them on cyber crimes.

some of the ambassadors said they had their first participation virtually as they had the opportunity to ask questions from the comfort of their homes.

"My participation has changed the way I use the internet- from taking risks, from pop ups and advertisements that may lead to s-exting, Po-rnography or bullying- Benson Chibuike said.

"I am more conservative with what I post, what I comment on, what I write, people I answer, people I follow, people talk to..., Nnenna Okoye said. She added that the programme has exposed her to the extent that she cautions some persons who engage in bullying others online.
