NCC: How To Restrict Unwanted Messages Coming Into Your Phone

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has revealed codes for phone users to restrict unwanted messages from coming into their personal cell phones.
The NCC in its bid to aid consumers who get unsolicited commercial messages from network providers, gave out codes for Do-Not-Disturb(DND) service and for reactivation of the commercial messages.

To activate the Do-Not-Disturb service code, customers are to send STOP to 2442.

To allow messages or deactivate the DND service, send ALLOW to 2442.

To resolve specific categories of messages, send HELP to 2442.

In the other hand, the NCC has advised Nigerians against releasing their personal information on websites.
