NCC: See How You Can Stay Safe Online | READ IN FULL

The Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), has given some cyber security tips for people to stay safe online.
This is coming following series of cyber bullying, cyber insecurity and threats being experienced by people who go online.

The online safety tips as given by the NCC are below;

Be polite when communicating with others
Be careful not to give your personal information to people you meet online.
Remember that not all the information you find on the internet is true'
Meeting someone you have only been in touch with online can be very dangerous.
Accepting E-mails, IM messages or opening files, pictures from people you don't know is dangerous.
If someone or something makes you feel unsafe online, talk to someone about it.
