NCC Warns Telecom Subscribes Against Giving Out Personal Information

The Nigerian Communication Commission [NCC] has issued a note of warning to telecommunication subscribers in Nigeria, not to respond to messages and calls from anonymous sources demanding for their personal details such as Bank Verification Number (BVN), Automated Machine (ATM) card details, National Identification Number (NIN) as well as any form of OTP code, Login details, PIN etc.

The telecommunication regulatory agency advised telecom customers to be cyber aware and always take security precautions in order not fall victim of hackers and cyber criminals.
