NCC: Why You Should Not Submit Personal Information On Websites

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has called on internet users to desist from submitting their personal information on any website.

The Commission says this is to avoid falling into the net of internet fraudsters who would use information released by unsuspecting users to defraud them of their money or perpetrate other heinous crimes

"The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) wishes to call on all Internet users to think twice before submitting personal information on any website.ÔÇØ

The NCC is the independent National Regulatory Authority for the telecommunications industry in Nigeria.

Such information include; One Time Password (OTP), Personal Information Number (PIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number, and other personal details.
