NFF, Sports Ministry Clash Over Jose Peseiro
The finalisation of a new Super Eagles coach has hit the rocks as the Sports Ministry and the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) are at loggerheads over Jose Peseiro.

The NFF has settled plans for the Portuguese to man the affairs of the Super Eagles,but the Sports Ministry has stated their reservations.

Recall the NFF had announced the 62-year-old would head the coach before contract negotiations broke down.

While three other sports heavyweights, Phillip Cocu, Laurent Blanc and Ernesto Valverde have been linked to the job, Peseiro has been tipped as the football federation's favourite candidate.
