A former member of the Nigerian U-17 World Cup winning team, Kingsley Udoh has recounted his team's ugly experience in Ghana.

31-year-old Udoh served as captain in the acclaimed U-17 squad, widely known as the Golden Eaglets, playing a principal role in retaining Nigeria's spot on the global map with the 2007 U-17 World Cup triumph.

The 2007 victory in South Korea served as Nigeria's third in the U-17 football sphere.

Over a decade after his journey to Kumasi, Ghana's metropolitan city as part of the Austin Eguavoen-led U-23 (Dream) team that took on Ghana for a place at the 2011 African Games, the centre-back has described the famed Baba Yara Stadium as dreadful.

Shedding light on the experience, Udoh said they were greeted by hostile fans who came up with several core crumbling antics including pouring ''excreta'' and ''juju (charms)'' in the dressing rooms.

He went on to express his fears over Nigeria's forthcoming sojourn to archrivals, Ghana's entity for March 25th World Cup Qualifiers billed for the same dreaded Baba Yara Stadium.

"We were not allowed to enter the dressing room,"
They poured excreta and juju inside our dressing room and we couldn't go in. We changed outside. They destabilized us, Kumasi fans are very harsh and unfriendly and it's same city coach Austin Eguavoen is going back to.''
