Novak Djokovic To Miss US Open

Tennis Star Novak Djokovic will not participate in the US open due to not having the Covid Vaccine which ruled him out from playing at the Australian open at the start of the year.

The Serbian is in search for his 22nd men's singles Grand Slam title after victory at Wimbledon this summer.

However, according to the US official website, Djokovic will miss the last Grand Slam of the year
The U.S Center for Disease Control and Prevention had announced that for a non-US citizen to travel by air to its country, they must "show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Djokovic has refused to take the vaccine and appears set to miss out due to current US rules that require travellers to show proof of full vaccination to board flights to and enter the United States.
