NPF: Adeleke Bode Emerge As New AIG, Zone 9 Umuahia

Mr Adeleke Adeyinka Bode, has emerged as the new Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 9 Umuahia in Abia state.

Zone 9 of the Nigerian Police Force comprises of Abia, Imo and Ebonyi states.

According to a statement signed by the zonal Police Public Relations Officer( PPRO), Mr. Kingsley Iredibia, Bode who succeeded Mr Ene Okon, have resumed duties.

The release requests the cooperation of members of the public through volunteering useful information about criminals in the zone.

It also advised the public to be law abiding as the new police boss has zero tolerance for lawlessness.

Bode who hails from Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, studied Education from the Lagos State University, and Law from Olabisi Olubanjo University Ogun State, .

Before his new appointment, he has served as Commissioner of Police in Delta and Kebbi States respectively.
