Ogbulogo Is A Card Carrying Member - Chris Ajah, APC Abia North Replies Critics

Addressing newsmen on Sunday after a stakeholders' meeting from Abia North APC, the Zonal Chairman APC Abia North, Hon. Chris Ajah, frowned at a situation where issues affecting the party will be thrown up in wrong perspective while relegating the organogram of the party to the background.

Hon. Ajah refutted the trending story on the social media space that Henry Ogbulogo from Ward 8 in Isuikuwato L.G.A, appointment into the Federal Character Commission by President Muhammadu Buhari is not a bonafide member of the party, branding such accusations as misleading and false.

He stated that when his attention was drawn to the issue, he put a call across to the State Publicity Secretary of the APC informing him that the said Mr. Henry Ogbulogo is a full member of the party registered in ward 8 in Isuikwuato Local Government Area. But, he was surprised that even with his clarification, Ben Godson still went ahead with his publications against the nominee.

Hon. Ajah, reiterated that Ogbulogo is a card carrying member of the APC who played a pivotal role in the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari, governorship election in the state as well as worked tirelessly in re-electing members of the National and state house of Assembly members.

He called on Abia APC to guard against such publications that is capable of throwing the party apart at this critical time, adding that the whole Excos from Abia North, including the Chairman Isikuwato APC disassociates self from such a false publication, urging all to use the right channels if such controversies arise in the party than making false claim in the media.

Also speaking, APC Ward 8 Chairman Isikuwato, Goodluck Okezie, described the publication by Ben Godson as false, confirming that he personally registered Henry Ogbulogo on the 30th of May 2017, adding that he is a certified member who participates in the activities of the party as well as sponsors the entire meeting of the Ward.

Correspondent reports that APC Excos from Abia North including: Mrs Ori Obobi, Mr Offor Okerie, Mr John Egbuta, Royal Okereke, Idika Ebin, Prince Ezekwesiri, Okoroafor Innocent, John Eke, Ngozi Ogbuagu, Josco Jeo were present during the meeting.
