The seminar, which brought together all Local Government Area Mayors and their executives, traditional rulers, presidents-general, women leaders, youth leaders, and members of the clergy, was aimed at strengthening local governance and building a culture of responsibility and accountability across Abia State.
Addressing participants, Lady Abazie declared that while government can provide infrastructure and opportunities, it cannot instill discipline in its citizens. She argued that the key to lasting development lies in a shift of mindset and responsible citizenship.
"Government can build roads, schools, and hospitals. But government cannot teach us discipline-it must come from within. Government can provide opportunities, but only a people with the right mindset can turn those opportunities into lasting wealth and development," Abazie stated firmly.

He announced that the council is already developing an official website to ease communication and enable residents to access services such as the Local Government of Origin Certificate and other essential documents online.
