Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Contact 100 Religious Bodies To pray For Ikpeazu's Recovery

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, an umbrella body of Igbo youths resident in and outside Nigeria have contacted over 100 religious body to commence prayers for the quick recovery of HE Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who is currently in isolation and receiving treatment after testing Positive to coronavirus.

One out of the many samples Dr Okezie Ikpeazu send to NCDC testing laboratory in Ebonyi state returned Positive and subsequent on this , Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu was isolated and receiving treatment which made him hand over to his deputy Rt Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu.

In a press release made available to AFNEWS and signed by Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro(President General )Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide and Mazi Okwu Nnabuike (Secretary General ) Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide. The organization described the news " as a Sad development " according to the organization the News of the Rising index Cases Of Coronavirus in the South East, which Governor Okezie ikpeazu of Abia State, was among-st them and the first Igbo Governor to sincerely disclosed his status as being Positive to the virus after Series of tests is an unfortunate news.

"OYC has mobilized 100 Religious groups to intercede with Prayers and other traditional medium of Prayers for all Igbos currently tested positive to Coronavirus especially, the Governor Okezie ikpeazu, for Chukwu Abaima (God Almighty) to cleanse the land and heal them......., There is an ongoing 40days fasting and Prayers for Governor Okezie ikpeazu led by igbo Christian Prayer Warriors starting from today 9th June 2020"

" We also want to appeal to all Churches in Igboland to join the Seventh Day Adventists Churches across Nigeria on Wednesday 10th June 2020 on a Special Mid Week Prayers for all igbo COVID-19 index cases,other Religious leaders like Jewish, Muslim, Traditional and Customary groups have been mobilised to start offering their prayers, Sacrifices and ordinances from 10th June 2020 for all Igbo Coronavirus index cases especially Governor Okezie ikpeazu. "

The organization said they are hopeful and Confident that God will heal the land and Save Igbos from this Coronavirus pandemic and wish Governor Okezie ikpeazu and other affected Igbos quick Recovery as we show our igbo Solidarity to them.
