Alex Otti Reveals How Abia Traders, Artisans Will Be Empowered | READ DETAILS

As part of his wealth creation vision, the governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, has introduced a fund scheme; "Labour Party Cooperative Society" for business people, artisans, farmers and apprentices in the state.
According to the governorship hopeful, the scheme is designed to help Abians who need capital to start a business or support their already existing businesses to ensure that they are financially independent.

Otti while speaking during a campaign tour at Ehere market and Good morning market on Tuesday, explained that interested persons are required to fill a form which would be scrutinized and selected persons would be supported by his administration if elected.

He called on Abians to give he and his running mate, Engineer Ikechukwu Emetu, their mandate, assuring that all roads in Aba and beyond, would be properly fixed and Abians lifted out of poverty.

"This is the government that will take you out of bondage.
"We want to give you capital. Our own government will support business men and women in Aba".

"Our government will not share money like other governments; our government will create wealth to all of you".

"Ikechukwu and Otti are not running election; Abians are running through us. "We want to lift everybody out of poverty.
"We shall set up a full-fledged ministry to take charge of Aba, with the responsibility to design, implement and provide key enablement for the economic rejuvenation of Aba as an industrial and commercial hub, with the capacity to feed the Nigerian and African market.

Honourable Ishmael Onuoha, contact and mobilisation director of Alex Otti Campaign Council will be in charge of the empowerment scheme.
Earlier on, Otti paid homage to His Royal Majesty, Eze Sylvanus Ekeke, Ugwu 1 of Agbo of Abayi ancient kingdom in Aba north Local Government Area who gave him his blessings.
