A former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, has become the 2023 presidential flag bearer of the Labour Party.

Recall that Obi, had withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to pursue his presidential ambition under the platform of the LP.

Obi was declared winner at the Labour Party's Convention and presidential primary held in Asaba, Delta State on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Before his emergence, Professor Pat Utomi and 45-year-old Joseph Faduri all stepped down for Obi.

Peter Obi took to his social media handle to write;
