Abia State government has demolished shanties and bunks used as hideouts by criminals around Waterside area of Aba North L.G.A.

While supervising the demolition, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Dr. A.C.B Agbazuere accompanied by the State Commissioner of Police, Mrs Janeth Agbede, the Acting T.C Chairman of Aba North L.G.A, Mrs Joy Iwuchukwu revealed that the decision to demolish the shanties is to stop illicit activities happening there and to reduce criminal activities.
