Police Can Search Your Phone If...... CSP Adejobi Reveals | READ DETAILS
Police spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, says operatives of the Nigerian police force can search the phone of an individual (s) if the phone is an exhibit in any case under investigation.
According to Adejobi, in the absence of such scenario, no policeman has the right to search anyone's phone anywhere.

The spokesperson who was responding to an inquiry on Twitter said;

"No policeman has the right to check ones phone anywhere except the phone is an exhibit in a case under investigation and that phone must have been marked exhibit. Any policeman who does that is not a policeman, but rather a scavenger".
