RAMADAN: NWOSU URGES MUSLIMS TO PRAY FOR NIGERIA

Former APC governorship aspirant in Abia State, Sir Friday Nwosu, has urged Muslim faithful to use the period of the Ramadan to pray for the peace and security of Nigeria.

Nwosu who made the appeal in a Ramadan message to Muslims further urged them to fast, pray and seek the face of Almighty Allah. He disclosed that he had also joined the Muslim faithful to fast and pray for the peace and security in Nigeria.

The former governorship aspirant said the country need prayers to surmount her present challenges and called for more prayers for Allah's wisdom and guidance for the leadership on President Muhammadu Buhari, governors and other leaders.

"I wish all our Muslim brothers a successful fasting during this year's Ramadan period. The period of Ramadan is a time used by Muslim faithful to fast, pray and seek the face of Allah. "While wishing our Muslim brothers a successful Ramadan fasting this year may I also remind us to pray for peace and security in our country. We must pray and ask for Allah's wisdom on President Muhammadu Buhari, Governors and other leaders of our country. "I will associate myself with our Muslim brothers by also in my own little and humble way by also fasting and praying for peace and security in our country.ÔÇØ
