The trial of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has been adjourned till October 21st, according to Channels TV, one of the DSS-approved media agencies covering the trial in Abuja.

Mr Kanu was reportedly absent at the hearing, requesting a visit from a doctor for a comprehensive check-up.
