RIVERS: How Over 30 Seized Vehicles Were Lost In NSCDC Dump Site | PHOTOS
A dump site housing impounded vehicles retrieved by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), gutted fire on Monday, in Iriebe, Obio-Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

The fire outbreak gutted over 30 seized vehicles believed to have contained petroleum products retrieved from illegal refiners.

Eyewitnesses said the fire incident started with an explosion from the yard, degenerating to neighboring buildings including a cement depot and private vehicles.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state command, Ayodeji Olufemi blamed the incident on saboteurs who allegedly threw explosives at the parking lot of the seized petroleum products dump site.
