Cristiano Ronaldo has confirmed his exit from Juventus, saying the Italian side is "now part of my history.ÔÇØ

The 36-year-old took to his verified Instagram on Friday with a post appreciating his time with the club.

He, however, regretted that he and Juventus could not achieve all that they had wanted.

The former Real Madrid man wrote, "Today I depart from an amazing club, the biggest in Italy and surely one of the biggest in all of Europe.

"I gave my heart and soul for Juventus and I'll always love the city of Turin until my final days.

The post from Ronaldo comes minutes after Manchester United announced that they had reached an agreement with Juventus to see the return of their former Number 7.
