See Abia Lawmakers Who Got Appointed As Reps Committee Chairmen, Deputy | READ HERE
Five House of representatives members of Abia State origin, has been appointed alongside 129 others as Standing Committee Chairmen and deputies by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen.

Hon. Benjamin Kalu - the deputy speaker of the House and member representing Bende Federal Constituency - He was appointed as Chairman, Constitutional review committee.
Hon. Ginger Onwusibe - Member representing Isiala Ngwa South/ North federal constituency. He was appointed as Chairman, Financial Crimes committee.
Hon. Amobi Ogah - member representing representing Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi federal constituency. He was appointed chairman, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and malaria control committee.
Hon. Obi Aguocha - member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency. He was appointed as chairman, Monitoring and evaluation of standing/ad hoc committees.
Hon. Ibe Osonwa - member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency. He was appointed deputy chairman, FCT Judiciary.
