Senator Victor Umeh, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and senator who represented Anambra central in the 8th National Assembly, has described the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Yusuf Datti-Baba Ahmed, as the only hope for the much needed transformation in Nigeria.

Umeh while speaking to ALL FACTS NEWSPAPER on Saturday during the Alex Otti Foundation scholarship banquet in Umuahia, added that;

Speaking on the concern of Peter Obi lacking political structure, Senator Umeh, who is now a member of the Labour Party, noted that with the new electoral Act, the voters who are the real structure, would decide their next president.

" In every election, the voters are the most important people not people who call themselves structures of political parties. Anybody the voters will vote for, will win the election.

" The voters of Nigeria are ready to vote for the real change. Not the type APC promised and failed. People are looking up to Peter obi to turn things around in Nigeria" he insisted.

Also speaking on the candidacy of Dr Alex Otti, the LP Guber candidate in Abia, Umeh described him as "the hand, Abians need to get themselves out of the woods".

He expressed optimism that Otti will win the 2023 election adding that " there is a complete overhaul of the electoral system that will make transparency possible".

He charged the people to cast their votes come 2023, assuring that their votes will count.
