Senator Abba Moro Becomes New Senate Minority Leader | READ MORE
Following the sack of Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon representing Plateau North Senatorial District by the Appeal Court, Senator Abba Moro, representing Benue South Senatorial District, has emerged Senate Minority leader.
Moro was announced as the inority leader on Tuesday, by the senate president, Godswill Akpabio.

Moro's appointment comes after the PDP lawmakers agreed to zone the position to the North-Central to allow for fairness and equity.

Moro is from Benue State in the North Central. He is a two term Senator on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and was nominated by the opposition party in the red Chamber and was subsequently affirmed.
