Seven Feared Dead As Gunmen Open Fire In Anambra

It was a sad day yesterday, 22nd May 2022, in Anambra State as seven people were killed, a mother and her four children inclusive.

The attack took place at Isulo in Orumba and Abatete in Idemili North council as gunmen invaded the area, opened fire on the victims and left.

Police spokesman Ikenga Tochukwu, at the time of filing this report could not confirm the incident as he said details were still sketchy, but promised that by today, after getting a clearer picture of the incident, would speak about it.

However, a senior police officer confirmed that the Isulo incident happened.
