Sir Oko Chukwu, Others Bids Eternal Farewell To Chief Magistrate Linda Ugbaja

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has condoled the family of Dr Ugbaja Chukwuma Ugbaja and the Abiriba Kingdom over the death of their beloved Wife and Mother, Chief Magistrate Linda Oyeni Ugbaja.

Sir Oko Chukwu speaking while condoling the bereaved family after a funeral Service organised in her honour by the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria held at Bourdex Events Centre, Abiriba described late Chief Magistrate Linda Ugbaja as a shining example of a loving and caring Mother, a devout Christian and community leader who had a very sound knowledge of the law as an excellent Judicial Officer while discharging her duties at the Magistrate Court of Abia State.

The Deputy Governor further described the demise of legal luminary as a huge loss and devastating experience to her immediate family, Abiriba Kingdom and State at large and enjoined the bereaved family not to mourn like those without hope as death is a phenomenon beyond the control of mortals.
He advised children of the deceased to be consoled that their mother lived a good and fulfilled life of selfless service to God and humanity by bequeathing sterling legacies which they must sustain while praying God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss as well as grant her soul eternal rest.

Responding on behalf of the family, the son of the deceased, Mr Emmanuel Chukwuma Ugbaja described their Mother as a pillar of support to the family, a woman with a large heart as well as a philanthropist that impacted on so many and thanked the Deputy Governor for coming to identify with them.

Aged fifty-nine, Chief Magistrate Linda Oyeni Ugbaja is survived by her husband, Dr Ugbaja Chukwuma Ugbaja, three children, a grandson and other numerous relatives including the PRO Ministry of Finance, Lady Ifeanyi Okpan and the Deputy Registrar, Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Lady Ukanwa Onuma.
