SPECIAL REPORT (AROCHUKWU 2019): APGA CANDIDATE HIGHLIGHTS HIS POLICIES FOR ENHANCEMENT OF DIASPORA DEVELOPMENT PARTICIPATION

DR. MIKE UKOHA HIGHLIGHTS HIS POLICIES FOR THE ENHANCEMENT OF DIASPORA PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF AROCHUKWU CONSTITUENCY AND ABIA STATE IN GENERAL

The All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] candidate Abia State House of Assembly Arochukwu Constituency, Dr. Mike Ukoha has underscored the importance of Diaspora participation in the development of the various Constituencies of the State and Abia State in general.

It is against this backdrop that he has rolled out policies that will promote Diaspora participation in the development of his constituency.

No doubt, Nigerians in the Diasporas have individually and collectively contributed immensely to the overall development of our country as part of their own social responsibilities in so many ways. Some of them in the Diaspora have provided Medical supplies as well as drugs worth millions of Naira to their various communities so as to better their lots, this is apart from other essential provisions which they have offered free of charge. Unfortunately, when such huge donations get into the wrong hands back home, the purpose for which it was meant may never be achieved.

Many ideas and proposals with good intentions from our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora which would have benefited those back home have on several occasions been allowed to be swept into the waste bin of history and nothing has been heard of it anymore.

These and many more issues bedeviling the constituency and the State in general will be tackled as soon as Dr. Mike Ukoha is elected to represent the good people of the constituency. He wishes to make laws in partnership with his colleagues in the House that will help to promote proper Diaspora participation which will be beneficial to both his constituency and the State as a whole.

Some of these laws will equally help to hold the Executive Arm of the government to join hands in providing job opportunities and economic development to the people in partnership with Abians in the Diaspora.

Dr. Mike Ukoha's intention if elected is to make laws that will ensure that revolutionary ideas of our people in the Diasporas are not abandoned, but rather be brought to the fore and included in his plans for his constituents, with his plans to unveil two of his Constituency offices in Umuahia and Arochukwu LGA, such will in no small ways help to gather the ideas of his people in the Diaspora and make them to think homeward of the better ways to improve the living standard of the people.

These among other things prompted him to go into the race, bearing in mind that those who will benefit bountifully are people of his constituency who will soon feel his quality representation spiced with accountability which has been his watchword.

This indeed should be cheering news to Arochukwu L.G.A and Abians and in the Diaspora on the need to avail themselves of these all important policies to mobilize support for Dr. Mike Ukoha to go and represent his constituency for better days ahead.

As it is now, the people of Arochukwu Local Government Area are eagerly waiting for the day to come when they will all file out in their numbers to elect Dr. Mike Ukoha to represent the constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance [APGA] come March 2nd, 2019 -- Vote for
